Having no idea what you are talking about does not seem to inhibit people from posting pseudo-information on social media forums and blogs, said Prof Ligate Lyer of Social Rage, who carried out the research. In fact, it seems the less people know, the more likely they are to spew inaccuracies, rumour and made-up nonsense.
