New funding for IJN

The International Journal of Nonsense is proud to announce that it is to receive $2bn in funding from insane entrepreneur Mike Rofonik-Noyz.

In a statement to reporters Mr Rofonik-Noyz said the money was to allow IJN to continue its high standard of quality reporting.

However, on receipt of the cheque, the IJN editorial board has decided to mostly spend the money on comfy sofas and cheesecake.

It will be the first time in history, said Mr Horse McFeathers, IJN's Executive Editor, that an international journal of record has had access to almost limitless supplies of cheesecake. For that, we can all be very grateful.

Resorts send snow to skiers

Ski resorts have begun delivering snow by helicopter direct to skiers' homes in a move designed to protect the mountains from the environmental impacts of winter sports enthusiasts.
